Eric Klien is the Chairman of the Lifeboat Foundation, a nonprofit nongovernmental organization dedicated to encouraging scientific advancements while helping humanity survive existential risks and possible misuse of increasingly powerful technologies, including genetic engineering, nanotechnology, and robotics/AI, as we move towards the Singularity. Eric believes in focusing on high value activities, in delegating to good people, and in assembling a large collection of the best people he can find.
