Raymond Keene OBE is the USIA Governance Council Member and Vice-President (VP) of the United Sigma Intelligence Association, USIA.


 

Academic Background

Raymond Keene graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, where he shared lodgings with Prince Charles, now King Charles III, during his final year. He earned his Master of Arts (MA) degree with a major in German language, history, literature, and culture.

Raymond Keene’s illustrious career in chess has cemented his place among the world’s leading chess masters:

  • Garry Kasparov World Chess Championships: Successfully organized and fundraised for three of Garry Kasparov’s World Chess Championships in 1986, 1993, and 2000.
