The 2023 United Sigma Intelligence Association Award for Chemistry (2023 USIA Award for Chemistry) has been given to Jennifer Doudna in recognition of having met the highest standards of excellence in her noteworthy achievement as an original investigator in a field of arts and sciences dedicated to providing intellectual inspiration to the world.
Dr. Jennifer Doudna accepted the 2023 USIA Award on January 18, 2023. However, due to her personal change of mind, she asked the United Sigma Intelligence Association (USIA) to cancel the award. The USIA respected the winner's opinion and therefore revoked Dr. Jennifer Doudna's award.
